Experience, expertise and a thoughtful approach to aesthetic medicine

Choosing an aesthetics practitioner is about more than finding someone who can perform a treatment. It is about finding someone you trust to listen to your concerns, offer honest advice and help you make informed decisions about your appearance.

Many of my patients spend time researching before booking an appointment. They want to understand who is treating them, what qualifications they hold and how they approach aesthetic medicine. I welcome that.

I qualified as a dental surgeon from the University of Liverpool in 1999 and have spent more than 25 years caring for patients in both hospital and general practice settings. Alongside my clinical work, I have undertaken postgraduate training in facial aesthetics and have developed a particular interest in ethical, evidence-based aesthetic medicine.

Today, I provide non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments for patients who want natural-looking results that help them look refreshed, healthy and confident, without looking obviously treated.

Why Patients Choose Me

Extensive Clinical Experience

Experience brings more than technical skill. It brings perspective, judgement and the ability to recognise that every patient is different.

Over more than two decades in healthcare, I have developed the assessment and communication skills needed to understand patients' concerns, discuss realistic outcomes and create treatment plans tailored to the individual.

Early in my career I spent several years working in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, gaining valuable experience in the assessment and treatment of conditions affecting the face, jaws and neck. Together with my background as a dental surgeon and postgraduate training in facial aesthetics, this provides a strong foundation for the treatments I offer today.

Advanced Training

I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Non-Surgical Facial Aesthetics (Level 7), awarded by the University of Salford.

This university-accredited qualification involved extensive academic study, practical training and assessment and is widely recognised as the benchmark qualification within aesthetic medicine.

Continued professional development remains an important part of my practice, helping me stay up to date with advances in patient safety, treatment techniques and aesthetic medicine research.

Evidence-Based Practice

I believe patients deserve honest information and treatment recommendations based on evidence rather than trends.

Alongside clinical practice, I have authored peer-reviewed publications on topics including ethics and consent in aesthetic medicine, dermal filler regulation, filler longevity and migration, treatment considerations in younger patients and the management of patients with autoimmune conditions.

Research and ongoing learning help ensure that the advice I provide is grounded in current evidence and best practice.

A Patient-First Approach

One of the things patients often tell me is that they value feeling listened to.

I do not believe anyone should feel pressured into treatment. My role is to understand your concerns, explain the options available and help you decide what feels right for you.

Sometimes that may involve treatment. Sometimes it may involve a different approach. Occasionally, it may mean deciding that treatment is not necessary at all.

The consultation process is designed to be informative, relaxed and tailored entirely to your individual needs.

My Philosophy

I believe aesthetic treatments should enhance rather than change.

The best compliment I can receive is when somebody tells you that you look healthy, refreshed or well-rested without being able to identify exactly why.

My approach is conservative and focused on helping patients age well. Rather than chasing perfection or attempting to erase every sign of ageing, I aim to achieve natural-looking results that respect facial individuality and remain in harmony with the rest of the face.

Every treatment recommendation is made with long-term outcomes, facial balance and patient wellbeing in mind.
